M48 Apocalypse Tomahawk Review

The M48 Apocalypse tactical tomahawk is one wicked blade! Based on the original M48 Kommando hawkaxe from United Cutlery, the Apocalypse version appeals to all you zombie lovers. The toxic green handle is constructed of 30% nylon, reinforced handle and is nearly indestructible. The black paracord wrapped handle offers a great grip and the axe head is attached to the handle with three separate bolts to ensure safe use even in extreme situations.

It is lightweight to be carried all day without added muscle fatigue and the blade of this offers a wide, upswept axe blade for mammoth chopping, slashing and zombie cutting potential. The secondary edge on the back side of the head is specially sharpened on both edges for a cutting and hooking attack. When combined, the spike and axe head make for an efficient personal defense and breaching tool against the zombie horde.  At 15? overall, you’ll have just enough extra length to not worry about getting bit.

We tested this tomahawk on car hoods, trees, throwing boards and a whole lot more. You won’t find anything that this tomahawk can’t handle. It throws so easily that you’ll think you’ve been throwing your whole life after just a few practice attempts. Since it will stick in either the axe blade or the spike, you’ve got a pretty high chance of sticking this in your target on every single throw.

Each tomahawk also includes a ballistic grade nylon belt sheath with snap buttons and MOLLE compatible belt loops on the back.
