Zombie Survival Gear Checklist

If you've found this letter, you already know that the zombie apocalypse is here. To say we were unprepared is an understatement! We had no defense weapons, no food, no shelter, no heat or way to purify water, no nothin! I found a BUDK catalog near this old typewriter and thought I'd type up a basic checklist for all of us who've made it so far. I'm leaving it here, but we are making our way North. We heard over the shortwave radio broadcasts that is there is a group of survivors in Canada who have fortified their complex against the horde. We have no idea if it's true, but it's something to live for. Hope this check list helps you make it, and I hope to see you there. -BUD

Spears

M48 Spear

You don't want to get close to those biters! If you don't have a long distance weapon, a lengthy blade is your best bet at defense. I recommend the M48 Kommando Survival Spear for impaling those walkers.

Crossbows

Pistol Crossbow A crossbow in the hands of a skilled marksman is the ultimate zombie weapon. You can reuse your arrows and there's never a loud shot to attract the hordes. I recommend the Avalanche Pistol Grip Crossbow. Rocket bolts 160 FPS right through the dome of those stinking creatures.

Paracord

You'll need a dependable lifeline for all sorts of different tasks. I recommend a paracord bracelet for fast and easy access of cordage that is also simple to transport. Our favorite is the M48 Kommando Survival Bracelet. paracord bracelet

Fire

survival-matches You won't live long without fire for boiling water and cooking food and even staying warm. I recommend these Elite Forces Survival Matches that are wind and waterproof and guaranteed to light. You'll be nice and toasty even in the coldest, wettest weather.

Shelter

Finding an abandoned building is best, but sometimes you've gotta get out in a hurry. It's always best to have an alternative shelter that is portable. I recommend picking up a few of these Emergency Sleeping Blankets which reflect heat and are waterproof. You can build a shelter out of them or use them as blankets to stay warm if you don't have time to build a shelter. survival-blanket
