The tanto blade has long been a favorite of tactical operators because of its strength and reliability. This Smith & Wesson Special Operations Tanto knife is no exception. A 5 1/5" 9Cr17 high carbon steel blade is teflon coated and razor sharp. A partial blade serration aids in cutting through webbing and other thick materials while the stainless steel pommel can be used to break glass and offers a lanyard hole. This knife includes a custom sheath with lashing slots for adding it to packs.
