Graphic Artist

Position Summary:

Principle Responsibilities:

• The Graphic Artist is a production team member that possesses the expertise to confidently create and develop artwork and mechanicals for final production with direction from Senior Graphic Artist and Creative Director.
• Responsible for total execution of a creative product and must be able to apply industry knowledge to produce top quality creative pieces of work.
• Artist performs a variety of tasks as it relates to art and production, including interfacing with sales and production internal teams.
• Artist is accountable for delivering high-quality creative products in an organized efficient manner and working cooperatively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Graphic Design, or related field
• 2-3 years layout experience, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand or Painter programs
• Artistic background including the ability to create conceptual ideas to final art
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
• Work under time space constraints and must be familiar with a variety of creative techniques, practices, and procedures
