The odachi is an almost unbelievable 62 1/4” in overall length with a 35 1/2” display-edged, black carbon steel blade. The extra-long handle is traditionally wrapped in black and maroon cord over faux rayskin and the black metal tsuba has a classic design. The pommel of the sword has a black chain accent with a weighted end. The gargantuan sword comes housed in a black lacquered wooden scabbard, which has a hanging chain.
