How can we help you today? Whatever your question, problem, or comment, BudK Catalog's Customer Service is here to help. We have added a section for FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions). If our FAQ's do not answer your question there are two quick, easy ways to contact us, so you can choose what works best for you. If there's anything we can do, just let us know!

Returns Policy

Every BudK product is backed by our iron clad 100% satisfaction guarantee! We ask you to please inspect the entire order when it arrives, to make sure you have received exactly what you ordered. And if for some reason you are not completely satisfied with an item(s) you have ordered from BUDK or the item(s) is damaged/defective, you may return it (within 60 days of the purchase) for a refund, replacement or credit. Please allow 3-4 weeks after you ship your return to us, for processing.

There is no need to call customer service when returning merchandise please follow these 3 easy steps to return an item:

STEP 1: Simply fill out the return form on the back of your Packing list included with your order. Include this form inside your return package.

STEP 2: Pack up and secure the product(s) to be returned with original packing and paperwork, if possible. If not, please print your full name, the billing address, the phone number on file and the reason you are returning the item on a sheet of paper, so the return department can contact you if they have any additional questions.

STEP 3: Drop off the package at a UPS or USPS (your local Post Office) location, we recommend using USPS. Please insure package using a tracking service. We only process credits for returns we receive. Save your receipt and tracking number until the credit is processed.

Shipping Information

Thank you for choosing BudK as your source for quality knives and other products. We strive to get you the best products for the best prices, no matter where you are located.

BudK shipping and handling is calculated based on the merchandise total of your order. All packages are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS, unless specified otherwise during ordering. Most orders will ship from our warehouse within 48 business hours. It is not possible to ship UPS Ground on orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, & US Territories, so an additional $10.00 will be charged- these will automatically be shipped USPS Standard Parcel. The Bud K website is designed to automatically calculate the shipping & handling for you. But, we are including the chart below for your reference.

All orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Depending on where you reside in the U.S., we ask that you allow 7-10 business days to receive your in-stock merchandise. Backordered items are shipped when we receive them and you will not be billed for any items until it is shipped out to you.

Need your order fast? Try one of our express delivery services. All express orders are shipped within 24 business hours after you place your order. Express orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or APO/FPOs. Sorry, we currently do not ship to Canada.

Wholesale Shipping Charges:

- Shipping charges are based on the actual weight of your order. There are no hidden charges.
- The current C.O.D fee is 9.00 per box.
- FREE ground freight for ORDERS TOTALING $1,500.00 OR MORE.
There is an additional charge for express deliveries. Does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or U.S. territories.

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If you cannot find the answer you're looking for, email your questions to webcs@budk.com.

1) Do I have to pay the $10.00 for Hawaii (HI), Virgin Islands (VI), Puerto Rico (PR) and US Territories?
Yes there is an additional $10.00 fee for all order shipped to these locations.

2) When should I receive my order?
All orders are usually processed and shipped within 24-48 business hours after being submitted and arrive at their destination within 7-10 business days. If we have an email on file, you will receive order (website only) and ship confirmations (all orders).

3) What is the time frame on returns? What is the return policy?
We have a 60-day satisfaction guarantee on all of our items. If you are not completely satisfied with any item from BudK Worldwide, Inc. or if the item is damaged or defective you may return it for a replacement or refund. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your return to be processed and credit to be applied to your credit card.

4) What are the requirements for wholesale? Why do I need a business license to be a Wholesale customer?
To open a wholesale account with us, you will need to provide a copy of your business license or tax id certificate.

Once we receive the copy, we will get a wholesale account set up for you. Please make sure and send a contact name and phone number with the copy, so we can contact you back with your log in information for the website. Wholesale Customers require a minimum order of $100. BudK is required by the state of Georgia to have a business license on file for all wholesale customers.

5) How can I get set up for online ordering?
If you are a retail customer, you simply place an order online. This will take you through the proper steps in getting you set up as a customer in our database. If you are a wholesale customer, please call 1-800-852-3491 to speak with a representative for online ordering access.

6) When should I receive a new catalog?
It usually takes 2-3 weeks after the request for you to receive a catalog.

7) Do you take check by phone?
We do not accept checks by phone; we accept credit cards, debit cards and gift cards over the phone. For mail orders we also accept money orders and US checks with the name and address preprinted by the financial institute via mail.

8) When will I get my backordered item(s)?
Backorder items are usually shipped out 24-48 business hours after we receive the items in stock. You can contact our Customer Service Department for an estimated delivery date for the backorder item(s).

9) How do I find out if my order has been shipped?
If you have a BudK website account and have placed an order via the website, phone or mail order; you can check your order status online under My Account. If you do not have a BudK website account, you can contact our Customer Service Department to check the status of your order. If we have an email address on file, you will receive order confirmations (website only), shipping confirmations (website, phone and mail orders), and tracking information if shipped via a trackable method.

10) Does BudK have a quality control department?
BudK takes Quality Control very seriously. Quality Control involves many of our departments. Our Customer Service Staff and Returns Department relate problem product information directly to the Purchasing Department. The Purchasing Staff reviews each problem item. Then with the help of Distribution Center and our Receiving Department, Purchasing ensures that our remaining stock and future inventory meet our quality standards.

11) How long does it take to process a mail order from start to finish?
It usually takes 3-4 weeks from the day you mail your order until you receive the merchandise.

12) Why are web and catalog prices sometimes different?
BudK Worldwide, Inc. is always having specials for our customers, sometimes they are website only offers and sometimes they are catalog only offers, so the prices will be different at times.

13) Are the swords sharpened?
All our swords come with a slight edge, only the swords that state in description that they are razor sharp, actually come razor sharp.

14) What is "backorder/canceled" mean on an invoice?
It means the item was a backorder item that the manufacturer cancelled our order for, so the item is not available.

15) Why do you need the CSV# off the back of the credit card?
The CSV# is for the customer's protection. The CSV# lets us and the card companies know that the card was present with the customer when the order was placed. It is to help us and our customers stop fraudulent orders or charges.

16) Why doesn't the Internet show order history for orders prior to 11/01/2006?
We changed our order management and fulfillment systems in November of 2006 and we are not able to link both the old and the new system to the website for order history information. All current order history for 2007 is currently showing up on the website. We apologize for the inconvenience.

17) Where are items made?
Our items are made in several different countries.

18) What is a VIP number?
The VIP number is your customer account number, when you provide us with the VIP number; we are able to pull up your name, address information, and key information about your account.

19) How long does it take to receive my order via regular shipping?
Orders should be received within 7-10 business days.

20) Why do some items have restrictions on being shipped to one state and not another?
The Attorney General of each state sets the restrictions on the items. You will need to check your state laws to see why the Attorney General restricted the item.

21) What are BudK's hours?
Our Customer Service hours are 8am-10pm EST Monday through Friday and 9am -9pm on Saturday. You are able to place orders 24 hours a day either through the website, fax, live operator, automated system or voicemail.

22) Do I have to be a member to order?
You do not have to be a member to order from our company. Anyone can order but becoming a member does get you: Guaranteed 10% Discount; Take 10% off every BudK order...even sale items! Free Items: We will send you free gifts just for being a valued member of the BudK Buyers Club. Sneak Peak: You will have first choice at what's new, what's hot, and what's being closed out. Express Service: As a club member, each order you place will be expedited quicker and handled with extra special care.

23) How can BudK sell items so cheap?
We purchase our inventory in large quantities and get discounted prices so we pass the price break down to our customers.

24) When will BudK make a Master Catalog?
We are currently working on a Master Catalog for our Wholesale division. However, for our retail customers, our website offers every item we currently sell. Therefore, our website is our Master Catalog.

25) Do you have my credit card number on file?
Our system allows us to only see the last four numbers and expiration date of your card, but we have to get the CSV# from you for each order placed.

26) What does the $.99 insurance cover?
The $.99 insurance covers your package before delivery. If the package is lost, stolen or damaged before delivery, you will not have to wait for the claim process to be completed before a replacement order is shipped out to you.

27) How far back can we price match items in the catalogs?
We can only price match items in the catalogs, two weeks from your purchase date.

28) Why does a person have to be 18 yrs old to order from BudK?
Due to the nature of the products we sell, you MUST be 18 years of age to order from The Bud K Catalog.

29) What types of delivery services does BudK have?
We offer delivery services through the United States Postal Service, United Parcel Service and Federal Express. We also offer express delivery services at additional costs.

30) Why do you need my phone number and/or email address?
Having a phone number or email address on you account helps us contact you quicker if we have a question or problem with your order. Also with the email address you will receive email confirmation when your order ships out with the tracking number and periodic email promotions that our company sends out.

31) Will I get soliciting phone calls or emails from you guys?
No soliciting phone calls will be made; the phone numbers are only to contact you if we have issues with your orders. BudK has email promotions that go out with special pricing or shipping discounts. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can contact our Customer Service Department and we can have your email address suppressed from receiving email promotions.
