I'm very happy with this set. No, it's not for full blown throwing, as hard as you can. Because if you are going through the back of the board, you are throwing very hard. These are small 6 inch long knives, that are thin. For indoor throwing, they can't be beat. You need something sturdier if you are gonna try and throw through the back of the board. If you read the description it tells you exactly the dimensions of the knives. Overall good quality, nice for throwing indoors.

My wife ordered this for me and I eagerly anticipated it's arrival. The first time I played with it three knives bent, two more had the string unravel on them, and the entire board started separating.

Not worth the money

I'll start with the target as the most disappointing piece. It looked OK at first. Maybe half an inch thick, seemed pretty sturdy. I through the 6 black knifes at it. One of the knives tips bent hitting another knife already on the target, so these will NOT last long if you play with them for a day or two. The target itself, after having a blade thrown at it, started to FALL APART. The target is actually made up of rings of compressed paper, possibly a mix of something else thrown in as well. The rings started popping out the back side from the knives hitting it. Note I have only thrown 6 knives so far. There's what seems like aluminum foil STAPLED to the sides, very unprofessional. The "bulls eye" is also a CORK, with the Copyright sticker on the back seeming to hold it in. Knives looked nice at first but bend way too easy. The only positive thing is the design of the board. Looks cool. Also note that the board diameter is 15-18 inches.
