Great Swords
Reviewed By: Droomyn (Stockton, CA)
Great swords. Only problem that I have is that the wrap on the handles could be a little thicker. And the tip of the right sword was bent a little, but nothing a pair of pliers couldn't fix.

Very nice, pretty sharp. The handles are curved outward to match the curve of the corresponding hand. The sheath is a lil bit flimsy, but overall they are beautiful swords.

Very Impressed

Just got my set and I am very impressed. I opened the box and tested the sword on the box. Cut through like butter! Razor sharp! The sheath is fantastic and sturdy. One of the best gifts my wife ever bought me.

Good Buy

These swords are great. Very sharp and rugged. Sheath is a little cheap, and the tips stabbed through it. Other than that it's a wonderful purchase.

Beautiful blades
Reviewed By: Steve McMasters (Salem, OR)
I just received these gorgeous blades. I'm a bit picky when it comes to my swords so I was a bit surprised that I didn't have any more problems than I do. My biggest issue is probably the scabbard. It would be so much better if it were lined with plastic or made of leather due to the same fact everyone else has mentioned. The swords have such a point on them that they punch right through the scabbard. In my opinion they should come with twin shoulder scabbards of a better quality. Next is the handle wraps. They are a little loose and move around and it can ruin the look of the blades. My suggestion to remedy this would be to use a bit of glue to hold the wrap in place. I didn't have anything else like a bent blade or they would have gone straight back. But if you like unique blades I do recommend you get these blade a good deal for the price. A better deal if they take the time to fix some of the minor problems. Even if they added ten dollars to the price(but I hope they don't for all you future buyers.).

Shanghai Surprise
Reviewed By: drumdrum22 (asdf, NY)
The shanghai surprise looks great. The handles are curved just right, so it feels natural in your hand. And they just look great. The only problems are that the blades are lighter than the handles, so they're unbalanced, and the sheath is a piece of crap. Unless you put the swords in just right, they stab a bunch of holes in the sheath. But overall, pretty good.

About The Swords
Reviewed By: Lord Kendrick (Clintwood, VA)
Unfortunately when I got the swords I discovered two swords does not mean two sheath. Since this happened they packed them both into one sheath which made some scratches on the sword. Also the wrapping on one sword was loose and not to mention the cloth on the actual blades both fell off in the first 20 minutes. the swords are amazing very sharp and dangerous, it's just that the production and the shipping of these items can be much approved. When I buy a sword i expect for me to scratched them up not to get them scratched.

Good set of swords, comfortable to hold. The only down side(s) are the sheath isn't very durable, and if you aren't careful with it you'll tear the strap off and poke holes in it with the swords; and the color, purple isn't my personal favorite!
