Reviewed By: Kaleb (Dover, TN) Bought two of these and have used them a few times. I use them pretty hard but neither have broken yet, 1 of them splitered a little but its still working perfectly. I looked at other stores and this was the best price (not counting shipping). I definantly reccomend using these swords instead of wooden ones if you want to practice with someone since these are long, light, and dont hurt much. A bit of advice for using them, hold with the yellow strong facing towards you, that way it wont break when it hits.

Reviewed By: Jeffrey Small (Fitzgerald, Ga) Well as for the other review, the yellow string represents the swords edge "cutting edge" on a real sword, these are great for when you walk, i usually carry mine attached to a quick release rig on my back pack, i live in a rough area and i have only had to use it once to get my point across, if you are seriously into self defense and want something light and nearly indestructable, this is for you, and if you want something you can practice your cutting techniques on a willing friend or just practice yoru sword play, again these are for you. I know no one wants to use the Bokens for practice against some one cause you can get seriously injured using them. Practice and enjoy.
BUDK shipping and handling is calculated based on the merchandise total of your order. All packages are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS, unless specified otherwise during ordering. Most orders will ship from our warehouse within 48 business hours. It is not possible to ship UPS Ground on orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, US Territories, FPO or APO addresses, so an additional $10.00 will be charged- these will automatically be shipped USPS Standard Parcel. The BUDK website is designed to automatically calculate the shipping & handling for you. But, we are including the chart below for your reference.
All orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Depending on where you reside in the U.S., we ask that you allow 7-10 business days to receive your in-stock merchandise.
If you notice that one of the items that you want to purchase is currently out of stock, there will be a date listed next to the product stating when we will be receiving the product back in stock. This time frame is an estimate, and is solely dependent on when the manufacturer can get the product to our distribution center. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide exact arrival dates for specific items.
You may place the backordered item into your order along with the items we do have in stock. The items we do currently have in stock will ship immediately and we will ship your backordered item as soon as we receive it back into stock with the shipping service selected on your original order.

All express orders placed before 2 pm Eastern Standard Time Monday- Friday are shipped within 24 business hours after you place your order. Express orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or APO/FPOs. Sorry, we currently do not ship to Canada.
