This authentically detailed collectible is a licensed reproduction of the sword featured in the hit NBC television series HEROES. This meticulously detailed sword is crafted with a tempered, hand forged 28 1/2" high carbon blade, just like the actual television prop. It features a genuine leather wrapped handle, genuine ray skin covered grip, and solid brass helix ornaments. Measuring 42" overall, this sword includes a wood shoulder scabbard and wood display stand. This adult collectible is individually laser serialized to ensure authenticity. United Cutlery, UC2558.

Reviewed By: Robert Hope (Brunswick, GA) I'm a huge fan of the Show Heroes and loved this katana on the show. I'm also an avid practitioner of Martial Arts( Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, and Muay Thai)...but have always loved ancient Japanese customs and weapons including the Legendary Katana. This Sword does not disappoint! I have several Authentic Katana's that costed around $1000 or more and this "Hiro" Katana is very close to the strength of the Authentic Smaurai Katana. It doesn't come very sharp, but it can always be sharpened if you ever did want to use it for more than a show piece. The quality is perfect, when you hold this sword or swing it you can feel how well made it is, there is no "shimmy" at all in it, just very destructive force. As far as the looks, it is one of the most beutiful pieces around, the Brass Helix Ornaments really make the sword, where as some other Katana's look bland, this one jump[s right off the wall, even to people who aren't fans of the show "Heroes". In conclusion, you can't possibly go wrong or be dissapointed with this Sword. I've owned $10K Katana's and this one is one of my favorites and I will pass it down to my children one day.
BUDK shipping and handling is calculated based on the merchandise total of your order. All packages are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS, unless specified otherwise during ordering. Most orders will ship from our warehouse within 48 business hours. It is not possible to ship UPS Ground on orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, US Territories, FPO or APO addresses, so an additional $10.00 will be charged- these will automatically be shipped USPS Standard Parcel. The BUDK website is designed to automatically calculate the shipping & handling for you. But, we are including the chart below for your reference.
All orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Depending on where you reside in the U.S., we ask that you allow 7-10 business days to receive your in-stock merchandise.
If you notice that one of the items that you want to purchase is currently out of stock, there will be a date listed next to the product stating when we will be receiving the product back in stock. This time frame is an estimate, and is solely dependent on when the manufacturer can get the product to our distribution center. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide exact arrival dates for specific items.
You may place the backordered item into your order along with the items we do have in stock. The items we do currently have in stock will ship immediately and we will ship your backordered item as soon as we receive it back into stock with the shipping service selected on your original order.
