this is a very cool practice sword i would recommend it but do not hit anything very hard or it will shatter into pieces and you will be crying like a stuck pig i mean like if you were to whack a steel pole nothing really else. what is fun to do with it is stab cardboard

Black training sword

Reviewed By: Bryan DeHaven (Ironton,  MO)
Well, though my use for the sword isn't practical to the normal buyer, i actually bought this sword for something to use in a video series for you tube, called feudal sagas. So, me being the ninja, i needed a black wooden sword. This, actually is a great prop sword, also amazing for practicing sword moves with. Though, I did see that after opening the long box it came in, the blade is not completely straight so if you make a straight chop, it will almost always give you a hint of a second sound (which doesn't bother most people). Also, the guard between the handle and the blade feels very week and I'm kind of worried about holding my hands too close to it for fear of it breaking off. Last but not least, its a one person ONLY training sword. Not for use in sparing. The blade doesn't feel that it would hold up to a sparring match. So overall.... Good for lessons/training, good for props in videos, good to look like an idiot in your front yard. Bad for use in sparring or combat. Editor's Note: Than
