NIGHT WATCHMAN "STUN GUN"

Reviewed By: Mike G. (Ripon,  CA)
I gotta say...I was reluctant in buying this stun gun for $9.99, how well could it work? Well, I received it yesterday, put a 9v in it, worked up enough courage to give myself a test shock in the shoulder (it says not to use it on yourself, but you know, I just had to). WOW!! A 1-2 second blast was enough for me. It gives you quite the jolt with a big burning sensation. I was amazed...to say the least. I know for a fact it'll work on an attacker if I need it to. Kind of big and cheaply made but well worth the $10 bucks. Give it a try...you won't be sorry. Thanks BUDK for the awesome deal.

The stun guns works as advertised. I have tried the stun gun on myself and I have tried mace. I have zapped myself 3-4 times with the stun gun, but only once with the mace. That should say something. If you are really worried about being attacked, i feel, mace is a better way to go. The stun gun forces you to be touching the person. A 1-4 second burst will disable a person for twice the duration of the burst. Where as a 1 second hit of mace from 3 feet away took me down to the ground looking for water. I was disabled for 10 minutes and for the next 10 minutes i could only open my eyes for a few seconds at a time. If you're looking for a fun little toy like i was, the stun gun is good, a little big but good. If you're really worried about being attacked, go for something smaller, with more bite (300k volts+) or mace.

Great Deal

Reviewed By: Nathan Sand (Minnetonka,  MN)
Not to long ago I bought two for my girlfriend and I and... I must say that it is a little bulky and may look like its made of cheap plastic but that is not going to be what is concerning you when you have to defend yourself against someone dumb enough to attack you with it. It takes down people quite effectivly as proven by friends and I daring enough to try it on ourselves. It does not have any long lasting consequences but the immediate effects are surprising for the price. You can't move wherever it hits you and it has a burning sensation even after its off for a few minutes. It is actually sufficiently durable. This item has my full support behind it and I recommend it to anyone who wants that feeling of immediate safety that comes with knowing it is there when you need it. On the down side, only name brand batteries like Duracell and Energizer have enough kick in them to get the full power of it. Has a very good battery life though. Also make sure to check your local laws

awesome tazer

Reviewed By: windsortownsavage (windsor,  CA)
this stun gun is great! it did take a while to get here but it was worth the wait. once you popped in that 9v battery and took off the safety it was good to go. i ordered this along with the pink breast cancer edition sabre pepper spray. my sister is pregnant and living with here husband and i thought this would be a stocking stuffer. the tazer itself is a little big, but for 9.99 its worth it. i defiantly recommend this tazer as a low cost starting tazer. or a gift to loved ones or co-workers.

Great deal at this price

I love this little stun gun. While it is a little large, it's not too big I don't think. I just got one for my wife and one for my mother in law and they both love it. I tested it like many did, and I would agree that it would bring an attacker to his knees in four to five seconds. It will stop them pretty much instantly though. And I'm sorry, but I do have to disagree with Johnny from Dalton. Stun guns work on high voltage, but low amperage. In order for it to be able to jump from your attacker to you simply by your attacker touching you it would need to have high amperage. The idea that an attacker can shock you by touching you is a myth.

Excellent Value

It's not too big or bulky for me, it's just big enough to ensure, you don't accidentally taze yourself. Unless of course your nut's like the rest of us and like to try it out on yourself first. *WEG* If you have hand shaking problems, it's easy to operate. Just remember, when defense time comes around, if the opponent is touching you, you get to feel it too.

Great deal for price

Reviewed By: Geoffrey Frey (Auburn,  CA)
This is the least expensive stun gun that I purchased and it is a great deal for the price. The funny thing about it is the warning, which peals off to reveal a brand name underneath. The warning reads: "Warning Extremely Danger". My guess is the South Koreans or other Asian manufacturers that made it had a little trouble with their English conjugation. It is a single arch unit, meaning that you see one stream of lightning between the probes instead of multiple like some of the other 100,000 volt units. It is a bit bulky and that makes it harder to carry. It has a pretty decent bite to it, as I made sure to find out. It would take a few seconds on an assailant to daze them, but once you are having contact with the probes, the only thing you can think about is how to stop getting zapped. Overall, it is a great deal for the price and a nice companion to have in your vehicle. No complaints, especially for under ten bucks ;o)

Nice but one thing!

Reviewed By: Douglas Bromberg (Colorado Springs,  CO)
I bought two of these and was impressed with the size and how lite they are, I mean seriously impressed with the weight. One I gave to a female friend and the first think she commented on was how lite it is. The other I am carrying on my belt, I do not even notice it is there. My one beef with this is where the battery goes is a large area and there is no padding of any kind to support the battery so it hangs there and moves around,I have no doubt that this would or will cause the unit to short out if it is carried regularly. I have some high density foam padding like that used in gun cases, I cut a piece to fit and that took care of that problem.

I originally got this for my mom. but, I didn't realize it was such a large stun gun. however I tested it on myself and its a great deal for the price. I think my girlfriend enjoyed tazing me a little too much. so knowing that I think I'll give it to some one else and buy my mom something smaller.

I dont like this product all that much, its a little to big, and it feels very fragile I know I wouldn't want 2 drop it, I'm sure it will do the job if you need it, and for the price I guess I cant complain that much but I would suggest spending more and getting something that would be a little more durable.

Awesome Taser. I got mine yesterday and this thing looks mean. I have only one downside. The plastic is kinda week feeling around the handle. And this taser is huge about 7 inchs long and 3 inchs wide. Pretty big good for the price. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments.
