Wow. This is an awesome knife. It's just like the description said it would be. The sawback feature is nasty! It looks like it could take down branches no problem. I'm going camping here soon and I can't wait to see what this thing can do! The sheath is pretty solid but looks a little flimsy. I'm being careful with it. It is dull out of the box, but as everyone says it can be sharpened. I would recommend this to everyone.

This knife is pretty good. Came in handy when I got trapped in some old roots while going through a ditch. The saw on it works wonders. Didn't come too sharp, but as said in previous reviews it is great after it's sharpened. Buy this knife you won't regret the decision I promise!

I love this knife. I bought my first one about a year ago, and it worked so well for me, I just bought another one. It was just as exciting opening the second one when it arrived at my door. I'm an avid camper, and experienced knife handler. I am thoroughly impressed with this knife ESPECIALLY for $20! Very balanced knife. It's hard to dull (though it came very dull, sharpen it up) and keeps an edge for quite a while. The back saw is INSANE! This thing competes with my machete! A+!

extremely awesome blade I've had it for 2 years know and I totally destroy knives and so far this one has held up the best. And the best part is how cheap it is. As you can tell by which city I'm from (more like village) I need a really good knife. Like this thing I've chopped down many many many trees with this sucker, but I have 2 things I hate about it. 1: it doesn't slide to cleanly out the sheath and 2: EVERY TIME I GO ON A BIKE RIDE WITH MY BUDS I NEVER GET TO USE IT. BECAUSE THERE ALWAYS FIGHTING FOR IT AND I END UP USING A GAY KNIFE :( LOL. So all in all BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

S.O.A. Knife

Reviewed By: Ian Sommerville (Puyallup,  WA)
Got this knife yesterday, after quick shipping. The knife itself is very well crafted, with a heavy duty stainless steel blade. The logo on the knife is incredibly well detailed. The handle fit my hand perfectly, although I did remove the cord from the grip. The knife has great balance to it as well. The sheath the knife comes with is molded and allows reversible placement. The belt loop also features a quick release system, so you don't have to take off your belt. All in all a great product. Definitely would recommend it.

The moment I held it I fell in love with it. The sheath holds it just a little too snug and its not full tang. The overall construction is great though and the buckles that hold it the knife and go around your belt are different. I recommend it.

heavy duty survival knife

Reviewed By: Ben (smyrna,  GA)
I got this knife about 2 months ago, and then i would have given it 3 stars. Mine came so dull you could rub your lip with it and not feel pain at all! And I tried using a sharpener to edge it up to speed and it won't hold that strong of an edge. But then i took it on one of my little survivor man missions, and this can cut through trees like no tomorrow! I cut through a 6 inch thick tree with it with no problems, and then stripped it to waterproof my shelter. My razor sharp buck knife 119 couldn't do that.

This knife, right out of the box is amazing. the blade is very thick and seems very durable. the sawback is excellent and the whole knife is very well built. the only drawback to the entire knife is the fact that it does not draw very cleanly from the sheath, but for such an amazing price, you can buy an aftermarket sheath and you are still paying a fraction of what should be charged for this incredible knife.

Own this knife for 2 months and it's been satisfied. Its size and weight allow it to be conceal carried. it comes sharp out of the box. Thickness of this blade enhance sturdiness. The saw-back, well, can saw wood but may take quite a bit of time. The plastic sheath fits the blade well although the three straps use to lock the handle are a bit complex than the push-button's. I conclude this a fine United Cutlery knife that is worth a consideration especially for its asking price!

what an awesome knife! i received it in the mail today and haven't stopped carrying it all day. The feel of it is very comfortable and the sheath is of good quality. I would recommend this knife to all who go into survival situations or are just looking for a great knife. The blade is very durable, however isn't super sharp coming out of the box. That is my only complaint, I want sharper. The pictures on this site do not do the knife justice. Buy it to see how awesome it really is.

Perfect Combat Knife

Reviewed By: Jesse Thompson (Berkeley,  CA)
This knife is incredible and more than worth the price! It is elegant and terrifying wrapped into one well crafted, flawlessly designed package. The blade comes quite sharp with a row of thick teeth on the back end which saw through wood very well (for a knife). The sheath is strong plastic and nearly impossible to break with ordinary - and a little 'un'ordinary - wear and tear. The mechanisms that lock the blade in the sheath and secure it to your belt are very simple but surprisingly effective. You just can't pull it apart!

I honestly know nothing about how a knife should be, or a sheath for a knife. What I do know is that I just received this knife today (with sheath) and I've got to say that it's decent quality for both the sheath and knife. I read some previous reviews about how the sheath is bad, but I think it's a good idea for it to be plastic. If it gets dirty you can just clean it. It seems pretty sturdy. I do wish there was a locking mechanism for the bottom part of the handle on the knife on the sheath that way it doesn't just swing loosely.

Excellent knife!

Reviewed By: corbinbentley (Flint,  MI)
This knife is the best one I've gotten. Ever! I don't know why people said it was not balanced, because I can throw it just like a regular throwing knife, just heavier. It's sheath is really, really nice, and you will want to have it on you all the time. I'd be careful what kind of sharpener you use though, because if you use the ceramic and metal wheel sharpener, you can scratch up the paint really bad. But it will hold an edge really well too. Hope this was helpful.

Great quality for the price.

Reviewed By: Evan Hamilton (Eaton Rapids,  MI)
This thing has to be one of the best blades I've purchased for under thirty dollars. It didn't come sharpened, which is okay since it's a survival knife and doesn't have to be razor sharp to do it's job. The blade itself is perfect thickness but has an uneven edge. I'm not worried since that could be easily fixed with a sharpening stone or tool. The handle is perfectly shaped and seemed to conform to every contour of my hand. The sheath isn't the greatest quality for my tastes but it does its job, so I can't complain. Overall, this knife is a great survival tool for those who like big bowie blades with modern styles.

I received this knife a few days ago, and I really enjoy using it. It is very sharp, and is very handy around the house, the sheath is very well done, and I love that satisfying feeling and sound when I draw my knife, and put it back. It is somewhat heavy, but light compared to other knives, and I do not think it will break on me in my lifetime (partly because I am too afraid to put it to the test lol) my point is, very nice buy, and I do not regret one bit with my purchase, and for the price of 20 dollars,...why the h*** not?
