This is definitely the best knife I have ever owned and I would recommend it to anyone. The operation is smooth. It fits perfectly in ether right or left hand, upside down or right side up and can be opened by ether right or left hand. The action and the blade length is legal almost anywhere and the shape and heft has scared off any would be attacker on my way home at night, not that it couldn't do the job in a confrontation.

Smith & Wesson is one of the best in the business. The thick G10 handle will not slip. The blade is in line with the handle and very good looking. The smooth action is a big plus. This will always come in 1st.

This action is so smooth the first time I opened it, I could not believe it. It can easily be opened with centrifugal force and has a nicely laid G10 handles. It is a lot thicker than you would guess but will fill the hand nice. The G10 and thickness are good for retention but nothing beats the ability to shove your pinky into hole for maximum lockup. It's a little less curvy than most karambits, but still sharp and deadly.

I've had this knife for years, it is very good quality for a fraction of the cost of the brand name karambits. As a Filipino Arts student and instructor, an affordable karambit is a welcome tool!
