As I searched for an M-9 replica this item is a very close comparison to a military issue I must admit I was skeptical ? But when this item arrived and I had done a thorough inspection I found it to be equally as good and upon sharpening the blade using diamond stones of different grit I found this product superior to an issued M-9 the blade must be harder than 60rc. I’m well pleased .

This is a nice M-9 Bayonet for just $30.00. The build quality of the knife itself is very good. And the sheath is a nice thick composite material. The built in sharpening stone is a nice touch. I have an Ontario Knife M-9, and this knife and sheath combo is very close to it, at almost 1/6th the price. I like the M-9 design, and I have several of them. This model ranks right up there with the better ones. Don't be afraid to purchase this knife. It's well worth it.

I was in the US Marine Corps and the other review is correct, it us not an exact replica. But, with that being said, I think it is a damn nice knife, the sheath actually blew me away as well. The rubberized grip is another plus. I would definitely recommend this blade if someone asked me. I had the blade engraved with my tanks name, they did a good job. Quality Product for the price.I have not tried it on my AR15 yet, but it looks very much like it will fit. The ends of the handle, that hook onto the bayonet lug work and seem sturdy. Good buy.

I was in the Army Infantry back when Trench Warfare was still a very big part of training, so I am intimately familiar w/both the M-7 bayonet and the M-9 Phobos 3 bayonet which comes with a large deep fuller (for blade nerds like myself) or blood groove (for the casual blade enthusiast) this obviously does not .... so M-9 imitation not replica.....

Overall, I was impressed with the quality of this Chinese clone. Well constructed, nice features (e.g. sharpening stone, wire cutter etc). The only reason I gave this a 4-Star, it doesn't fit over the flash hider, and I tried several. Can be easily corrected with a Dremel and some Blue. Anyone else have this problem? Since its only for display, probably won't even fix it.

The "bayonet" is in great condition and it looks great but unfortunately the muzzle ring dimensions are off, causing the bayonet clip to be misaligned with the lug.
