This is an amazing Throwing star, I was just throwing it at the shipping box this came in and it stuck pretty good. Then I was wondering where could I find some plywood so I got some and threw this Throwing star at the plywood and it stuck 99% of the time. These are without doubt a serious weapon. They are far superior to knives for serious throwing practice. I my first order was for six, and I have been using them for the past six months. Their professional quality, reasonable price and excellent value has me ordering more. I believe they are far superior to throwing knives for the beginner. They allow you to develop good consistent technique and doing it safely. With knife throwing, there is a serious risk of rebound which should actually send the knife back into you. That is not the case with Shuriken. Before you consider throwing knives, practice and become proficient with these--you will thank me.

BA Throwing Star

Much bigger than I thought it would be. Has excellent weight and was very easy / comfortable to throw. I got it to stick into flexible plywood, and I must admit, it was somewhat challenging to pull out. Had several missed attempts as well, some of which bounced off of rocks, and yet, the star had very minimal damage done to it, at worst some dulling of the blade. Inexpensive, well made, and deadly. This thing is awesome and it was cheap. I highly recommend getting one. I am not the best thrower but it really sticks even if you aren't very good at throwing.

throwing stars

These stars are the first ones I have gotten I am not the best at throwing, but the first time I threw it it went rite on into that plywood. After that I made it almost every time. And when I got them they where very sharp, and they have bounced along rocks and they have never chipped. I highly recommend these stars.

Other throwing stars I tried had to be thrown with a lot of force to stick. But the cold steel throwing star sticks every time. I always thought throwing stars were cool but could only be used as a distraction. The cold steel throwing star is much more than a distraction and definitely worth the price.

My favorite piece

I bought one of these awhile back looking for something cool to throw that would stick almost every time and I got it. This one really flies far, I like it better than the others that have blades on the edges since this one always sticks in deep and never cuts me. I bought two more recently so that I could throw multiple without having to walk back and forth between my target.

just got them today, took em and used them for about an hr. after wards looked them over to find absolutely nothing wrong with them (one had a very minor ding in a tip) but otherwise just like they came out of the box. LOVE THEM.

These stars are amazing. Although my first set, it is safe to say they are among the best out there, and not at a bad price. very solid, have not bent or scraped yet, even after about 100 throws. Stick almost every time. Not a very sharp edge which makes it safe to throw as hard as you can, which gives it a nice solid stick. Sounds awesome as it flies through the air and thuds on the target. Very satisfying, highly recommended.

First ninja stars I have bought so far, they are amazing. Stick them every time and you can throw them very hard and accurately. Very satisfying and makes an awesome sound when you throw them and when they hit your target. Highly recommended.

The throwing stars are amazing! I loved them all though the only thing bad I have to say is that if they drop and hit a rock they will get damaged but over all these throwing stars are awesome.

It's OK, the tips will bend and it absolutely doesn't have an blade it rarely sticks in wood, but it sticks in foam, the paint comes off easily, and it's not worth the money, but it is fantastic for display.
