Also good for hiking

This is a great staff, good for Tall people who enjoy hiking, can be carved, and doubles as a protection device. Hard to beat for quality or price. Thanx JRM

I love these staffs, I got two for my birthday and they are very sturdy, smooth, but they have a slight bend in them. Great for fighting

Good quality and low budget bo staff

Its durable, and thats very important when it comes to teaching new students, just as good as one of the more expensive stick weapons.

Solid Sturdy and Reliable

This staff is great. Inexpensive and top quality with a couple knots. Surface is uniform and makes a great walking/hiking stick. Oiled mine up with Macadamia and JoJoba Oils to bring out the depth of the grain. Ready to be carved or modified by ambitious weaponsmiths. Get one and you will be satisfied 100 percent.

weight distribution poor

I received a wax wood staff that was excellent as a walking stick but will require a great deal of work to balance it properly as a fighting weapon. One end of the staff is much heavier than the other.

6 Foot Wax Wood Staff

Good solid staff. Its nice because it has a little flexibility to it but can take alot of abuse. I didn't like how its tapered, its definitely lopsided. not good for a competition piece, but a nice walking stick or weapon, but doesn't handle like a good balance staff, but could be made to with relative ease.
