Raw beauty!
Reviewed By: Chris Staunton (Wilmington, DE)
This sword is unbelievable. I begged for this one as a gift a couple years ago, and could not believe my eyes when I saw it. The beauty of this is in its simplicity, it just looks like it's meant to do a job, and that's all. Nice sharp edge, very good balance; some thought definitely went into making it durable and functional. Love it!

great deal
Reviewed By: Justin (Ft. Worth, TX)
One of the best deals I've ever seen on the market. The blade is sharp, strong, and requires little to no maintenance. The cord handle comes loose rather easily at times but not enogh to detract from this amazing weapon. Another small issue is that while swinging the the weapon, the blade rattles a little showing that that the tsuba is not tight. Despite these few minor flaws it's the best deal around for sword collectors.

Perfect

Awesome sword. Bought it and couldn't put it down. Its a lot bigger then i expected. Extremely sharp on arrival and has stayed just as sharp for the past year. So far it is my favorite in my collection. The only draw back is that the cord grip on the handle after some usage loosens. Otherwise a absolutely flawless sword. Well worth your money. Perfection.

Best sword around
Reviewed By: Steve (Dover, NH)
This is the best sword in my collection. I wouldn't say the metal bends EASILY but it does bend. My sword took a point first fall onto a concrete floor, and the tip hardly bent (and this was an accident not a stress test). Very well balanced. I haven't had a problem with it at all, and the blade is still quite sharp after testing it on a few items. Haven't managed to nick the blade at all. Better quality than any of the Katanas I have bought from BudK.

functional/ full tang

still a good sword for the price. I did disassemble handle after reading other review. found out why the handle loosens. it is a welded tang. I will replace the metal in handle w/ better. as far as cording...well I will record full length of handle. that and whet rock on edge and I will still have one of the best low price swords around. anyone needs to know that most swords you buy nowadays is for show though, since we don't live in feudal japan in th 1600's. all in all still great.

United Ikazuchi Forged Ninja Katana 1045 Carbon Sword UC2586 is my sword of favor. i bought this naginata for my wife a couple of months ago because she is rather proficient at using a bo staff. this is a good cross-over to a bladed weapon for her. as we spar functionally i have noticed that this naginata is the only bade that i have sparred with that has nicked my blade. if you read my review of the ikazuchi you will realize how awesome this naganata must be.

superb

while walter has seamed to have issues with this weapon bending easily, i have had no such problems, i even used this sword to fell a 3" diameter tree!!!! i must say a valuable weapon at this ridiculously cheap price, the cord wrap sliding easily is the only drawback.

Not bad
Reviewed By: Walter (Long Beach, CA)
This Naginata is great to look at, but short on functionality. It's steel does seem hand forged, but it bends easily, has a lacking edge, and isn't full tang. The chords on the handle also come out of place easily. I can't complain at the price, though.
